Why do atheists hate God

Why do atheists hate God

WHY DO ATHEIST HATE GOD (SOMEONE THEY DON’T BELIEVE EXISTS)?

Atheists hate a person they say does not exist!

The reason the atheist hates God and can’t find Him is the same reason bank-robbers hate policemen!

Atheism is actually a crutch for those who can’t bear the thought of identifying themselves with Jesus Christ and admitting they’re sinners!

And, I completely understand it. After all, the name of Jesus can clear out a room faster than any other name in the world! Unfortunately, for the atheist, this excuse won’t fly, when they stand before the Creator.
So, what does drive this denial? The so-called “intellectual” and finally, an “honest atheist,” Aldus Huxley speaks for all atheists (whether they like it or not) in this priceless quote:

I had motives for not wanting the world to have meaning; consequently assumed it had none, and was able without any difficulty to find satisfying reasons for this assumption . . . . The philosopher who finds no meaning in the world is not concerned exclusively with a problem of pure meta physics; he is also concerned to prove there is no valid reason why he personally should not do as he wants to do. For myself, as no doubt for most of my contemporaries, the philosophy of meaninglessness was essentially an instrument of liberation. The liberation we desired was simultaneously liberation from a certain political and economic system, and liberation from a certain system of morality. We objected to the morality because it interfered with our sexual freeom.2

 Atheists aren’t born, they evolve

“A study was done a while back into all the famous atheists of history, Sartre, Kamoo, Nietzche, Freud, Marx, Madalyn Murray O’Hair, all the famous atheists of history, and every single one of them had something in common. They either lost their father when they were young, their father abandoned their family, or they had a terrible relationship with their father. That is very interesting because often these doubts aren’t really driven by intellectual questions, they are being driven by an emotional issue that really blocks them from wanting to relate to a heavenly father because they feel so abandoned, or cheated, or hurt by their earthly father.”3

Could Richard Dawkins be the missing link?

When all is said and done, if a person rejects Christianity, ultimately, it is the will not the intellect that stands in the way. Otherwise, God would be unjust in punishing unbelievers. Jesus said,

If any man is willing to do His will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from Myself” (Jn. 7:17). Also see Matt. 23:37.

According to Rom. 1:18-20, no one will stand before God with any excuse for ignoring or denying Him!

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

In other words, all an honest person has to do is to take a good look at the sun, the moon, and the stars to know, that anything so complex, so perfectly designed and well-balanced as is our world, and our universe, could in no way have made itself, and only “a fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God’” (Ps. 14:1). This, however, is only the general revelation that God exists. There is a huge difference between believing in God, and believing God! The moral Law shows us our sin and thus the need for a savior and through a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ our Savior!
