Greg Savitt
Greg Savitt is a Jewish man who has believed in Yeshua (Jesus) since October 1991. He grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Susan (formerly DelRe of Voice in the Wilderness), witnessed to him several times while both attended Rolling Meadows High School. Greg credits Susan’s witness as one of the reasons he became a believer in Jesus Christ, and they are now happily married and living in Illinois.
Greg graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana with a BS in Accountancy. He was in a Jewish fraternity for three years, graduated with a CPA, and he was hired by Ernst and Young — the largest accounting firm in the world. In 1997 he left his job as a CPA to become a full-time evangelist in Jewish ministry. He was in Jewish evangelism with Jews for Jesus for 13 years and Chosen People Ministries for 9 years. Now, he is the Director of Jewish Evangelism for Rock of Israel Ministries in Illinois and Wisconsin.
For over the past 25 years of ministry, Greg has led large evangelistic campaigns in Miami, Cleveland, Minneapolis-St Paul, and multiple campaigns in New York City. Greg has a passion for evangelism, discipleship of new believers, and teaching congregations the Jewish roots of our Christian faith. Greg has shared messages in churches in almost every denomination in the USA. He has spoken in mega-churches the size of 12,000, in seminars, men’s groups, and prisons, but he also loves to share and disciple one-on-one with anyone who wants to hear what God has put on his heart. He has Jewish-Christian messages, as well as a variety of messages on various topics from the Word of God.
With his ministry at Rock of Israel Ministries, Greg has evangelistic booths at fairs in West Palm Beach, Tampa, Los Angeles, San Diego, Ohio, Baltimore, Washington State, Dallas, and the Canadian National Exhibition: Canada’s largest annual fair. At these marketplace events, he shares the Gospel with thousands of Jews and Gentiles annually. He now serves on the Board of Directors of Voice in the Wilderness Ministries. Greg has also completed his entire master’s level courses from Talbot University on Jewish Studies, and he is a frequent guest on the syndicated radio show The Land and the Book on Moody Radio. Greg is the author of the book: From Tradition to Eternity; A Jewish Man’s Journey to the Jewish Messiah Jesus. His testimony has been produced and aired on unshackled.org. This 75-year-old ministry is heard on 650 stations worldwide and translated into 15 different languages. Greg would love to come and minister to your church or organization.
