In 1855 Charles Spurgeon wrote: “There is no point upon which men make greater mistakes than upon the relationship that exists between the law and the Gospel.” We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, through Christ alone, plus-nothing! Before I was saved, the law condemned me, now that I’m saved the same law now defines holy obedience. Not the obedience of a slave, but of a loving child. Understanding the relationship that exists between the law and the Gospel (few people do) will turn your world, your life and your ministry upside down for the glory of God!
